Regular weekly competition at Keilor Park Athletics Track this Saturday (11th Feb) starting at 9am. Athletes are asked to arrive by 8:45pm to enable a prompt start to competition. U7 athletes will do a 6th event this week which will be a 400m (for the first time). Race Walks are also on this week as an optional extra event. Athletes wanting to compete in race walks are required to marshal by 8:30am next to the steeplechase so that the walks can start soon thereafter.
 
300M Hurdles Practice Opportunity
At the conclusion of competition this week, 300m hurdles practice races will be held for any athlete entered in the 300m hurdles at the regional championships the following weekend. "Unofficial" times will be provided but will not be recorded or count towards PBs, Centre records,etc.
Twilight competition this Friday (11th Nov) starting at 6pm at Moonee Valley Athletics Track, Corio Street Moonee Ponds. Athletes are asked to arrive by 5:45pm to enable a prompt start to competition. Circular track events  (800m) have been included in this week's program for athletes in U9 and older age groups (U9+). Under 8s will do 400m. We will also be holding race walking (U9+). All U9+ athletes are encouraged to give race walking a go. Race walking is an optional event as far as points go and if you do want your race walking performance to count towards points then you need to drop one of your other programmed events. Athletes competing in race walking will need to marshall in the high jumps area by 5:45pm sharp.

Circular track events  (400m) have been included in this week's program for athletes in U8 and older age groups (U8+). Feature event this week for all age groups is hurdles.

Twilight competition this Friday (4th Nov) starting at 6pm at Moonee Valley Athletics Track, Corio Street Moonee Ponds. Athletes are asked to arrive by 5:45pm to enable a prompt start to competition. Circular track events  (400m) have been included in this week's program for athletes in U8 and older age groups (U8+). We will also be holding 300m hurdles (U12+). All U12+ athletes are encouraged to give the longer distance over the hurdles a go. 300m hurdles (300mH) is an optional event as far as points go and if you do want your 300mH performance to count towards points then you need to drop one of your other programmed events. Athletes competing in 300mH will need to marshall atthe top of the back straight, near the large discuss cage, by 5:45pm sharp.
