Keilor Little Athletics Centre Facts :

• New members are always welcome at Keilor Little Athletics - the place Where Dreams Begin.

• We operate a Summer track & field season (October – March) & Winter cross country season (April – July). Our Centre is Where Dreams Begin

• Children of all athletic & sporting abilities from the age of 5 through to 14 are welcome to join at any time.

• We are one of the largest and most progressive athletics Centres in Victoria and have been award the Victorian Little Athletics Centre of the Year Award in 2001 and 2006.

• We act out the LA Vic motto of Little Athletics…”Family, Fun & Fitness” and encourage our athletes to “Be Your Best”.

• We do NOT grade our athletes, ie we do not rank and match athletes of like ability so they can compete together. We find that the children work out pretty quickly who they are comfortable competing against. Once again the emphasis is on athletes doing Personal Best performances; not winning. You’ll hear allot about PBs at our club!...and athletes receive weekly awards if they can achieve 3 or more PBs at the one competition.

• We actively participate (and are very successful at regional & state level) competition - if athletes want to participate at a higher level of competition.

• We offer the highly acclaimed “On Track” skills development program for under 6 & 7 athletes. We are fortunate to have the best On Track co-ordinator in Victoria – Mr McCall J

• We also provide athlete development opportunities and regular coaching/training
